My name is Clare Falkner.
I am an artist and illustrator specializing in pictures of animals.

About Me:

I have always loved painting and drawing and I love animals. I completed an Art Foundation at West Surrey College of Art and Design (WSCAD), Farnham, Surrey then went on to get a BA(Hons) in Fine Art from University of Plymouth. I have been inspired in the West Country and lived in and around Exeter whilst I was doing my degree and for some time afterwards. During my time there I concentrated on painting sheep – there was a plentiful supply of subjects roaming on Dartmoor – Baa!!    I also wrote my thesis on the sheep as a subject in art.  Since then I have broadened my range of subjects to include people and land/seascapes.
